Domaine Dirler-Cadé

Domaine Dirler-Cadé is located in the village of Bergholtz, at 3km southeast of Guebwiller, a small town at midway between Colmar and Mulhouse. Dating back to 1871 when the first Jean Dirler founded Vins Dirler, the estate took its current name in 2000, following the marriage of fifth generation Jean Dirler with Ludivine Cadé, and the inclusion of Ludivine’s family vineyards. Practicing biodynamic viticulture since 1998, the domaine today covers 18ha, of which 42% are grands crus. Though not often in the headlines, this is one of the finest domaines in Alsace with a superb range of wines that are true renditions of their magnificent terroirs and known for their excellence, precision and density.
